SUSTAINABLE FUNDING STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE OUR MISSION

The Global Freedom Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a social enterprise. We deliver training and consulting to diverse stakeholders. We rely on fees generated from government, corporate and nonprofit clients. Additionally, we create free trainings for sectors less able to pay for service - such as social workers and school personnel - with support from private donors, grants and corporate financial and in-kind contributions.

FINANCIALS

In our first year, we had an outpouring of corporate in-kind support covering 65% of our annual budget and 67% in our second year.  Contract revenue and private donations comprised 30% in equal shares.  Foundations and corporate financial donations accounted for 5%.  501(c)(3) Ruling

FUNDING SOURCES

CONTRACTS

Corporations, governments and nonprofits contract with us to train their employees and broader networks to increase identification and prevention of human trafficking. Learn more about who we work with and why here.

INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS

Individuals are increasingly looking for a way to make an impact, especially on an issue as prevalent and underidentified as human trafficking. Our donors recognize that big problems require big solutions and that the Global Freedom Center is charting a new path. Contributions in any amount will make that impact. Please donate now.

CORPORATE GIVING

Corporations, already investigating how human trafficking touches their work, are turning that interest into charitable support through matching gifts, employee campaigns, sponsorships and other leadership initiatives linking the company’s market and brand to the Global Freedom Center’s innovative model for change. To brainstorm and strategize with us, email Partnerships@GlobalFreedomCenter.org.

SUPPORTER DESIGNED FUNDRAISING

Global Freedom Center supporters host small fundraising events for friends and family to learn more about our critical role in addressing human trafficking. Others use a personal fundraising page to participate in charitable runs and walks, or even collect donations in lieu of birthday gifts and designate the Global Freedom Center as the beneficiary. If you are interested, please email us at Partnerships@GlobalFreedomCenter.org.

IN KIND GIVING

From technology to office supplies and graphic design to other professional services, our work builds off of the generous donations of businesses. We are so grateful for their support. See our in-kind donors here and email us at Partnerships@GlobalFreedomCenter.org if you would like to contribute.

GRANTS

Foundation and government grants support the design and delivery of free trainings. This funding helps us to bring critical training to school personnel, domestic violence providers, public health nurses and many more.
